Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time salary position offering excellent benefits and a great opportunity for growth with longevity.
With a weekday work week, Monday-Friday and dayshift hours. This position makes for a stable workweek for those who need to enjoy a familiar and consistent schedule.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Hydraulics knowledge.
- Materials knowledge (various metals and plastics).
- Designing and testing new products.
- Designing molded components.
- Improvements to existing products
- Sourcing parts and materials.
- Develop BOMs.
- Good understanding of the principles of mechanical engineering
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME).
- Two years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics.
- A quick learner with good communication skills.
- A team player who is positive and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Working with a team to achieve results.
- Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary.
- Experience in electrical components, construction and/or maintenance services is preferred, but not required.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics.
- Experience in Materials (various metals and plastics).
